Senior Java Developer, 6+ years experience

General

We are looking for Java Developers to join our client’s international Agile team, building scalable financial trading platforms, developing end-to-end Java microservices, and collaborating closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams.

 

Responsibilities/Activities

• Design, develop, test and deliver new features across the full application stack
• Build scalable, secure and high-quality solutions using clean code and automated testing
• Develop and maintain Java microservices and REST APIs
• Provide Level 3 production support when required
• Improve architecture, engineering practices and development processes
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Collaborate closely with Front Office and cross-functional international teams
• Contribute to monitoring, alerting and application reliability

Requirements

Technical

• At least 6 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong experience with Java 11+, Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Good knowledge of Microservices architecture, REST APIs and JPA
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Sybase or other relational databases
• Experience with GIT and Maven
• Hands-on experience with IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Good knowledge of Linux environment and Shell scripting
• Good knowledge of JUnit, Cucumber and Jira
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, ELK Stack
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

Education

• University degree in Computer Science or other related technical field

• Strong command of English (written and spoken)
• Problem-solving mindset and focus on quality
• Ability to collaborate with distributed international teams
