Java EE Developer, 4+ years experience

General

We are looking for Java EE Developers to join our client’s team helping with the design and implementations for building the local interfaces that will allow the new channel to be integrated within bank’s architecture.

 

Responsibilities/Activities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications in alignment with established coding standards and best practices
• Provide time estimates for the programming and unit testing phases of the development cycle
• Conduct thorough unit testing to verify that all implemented or modified components function correctly and meet quality standards
• Utilize core technologies including Java and Spring Framework for application development

Requirements

Technical

• At least 4 years of working experience in a similar position
• Proven experience in Java development
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as JAX-WS, JAX-RS, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Elasticsearch, Microservices
• Proficient in using message brokers (preferably Kafka)
• Experience working with Agile and Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and programming techniques
• Good understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services

Education

• University degree in Computer Science or other related fields preferred

• Proficiency in English

• Adaptability and flexibility

Nice to have requirements

• Experience with OpenShift and Service Mesh
• Understanding of Agile and iterative methodologies – Scrum
