IT Test Manager, 8+ years experience

General

We are looking for an IT Test Manager who will join our client’s team and play a key role in coordinating and driving end-to-end testing activities across Financial Markets and Group Treasury initiatives, working closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, Product Owners, Release Managers, and Production Support to ensure effective test governance, planning, and execution across technical and functional deliveries.

 

Responsibilities/Activities

• Act as the primary interface between Trading, Operations, IT, and software vendors to coordinate end-to-end testing activities across the program
• Define and implement the overall test strategy, plan, and approach covering data, functionality, and system interfaces
• Lead and coordinate test execution, ensuring effective planning of testing activities and alignment with the overall delivery timeline
• Provide regular testing status updates to the project/program manager and proactively escalate risks, issues, and dependencies
• Manage business and IT stakeholders during release cycles, ensuring smooth coordination of testing activities and timely resolution of impediments
• Ensure comprehensive end-to-end test coverage for key business use cases, validating the completeness and quality of test scenarios across teams
• Coordinate and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), acting as the main point of contact for business and IT stakeholders during testing cycles
• Track and manage defects, perform impact assessments, and coordinate cross-team retesting and validations before key milestones and UAT sign-off
• Leverage expertise in financial markets, products, and applications to lead testing activities in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
• Maintain an end-to-end testing perspective, manage dependencies, and drive continuous improvement of testing practices and methodologies

Requirements

Technical

• Over 8 years of professional experience
• At least 5 years of experience in Test Management roles
• More than 3 years of experience in Financial Markets and/or Treasury business domains
• Hands-on experience with front-office trading platforms (e.g., Murex) and back-office systems (e.g., Calypso)
• Proven experience defining, implementing, and continuously improving test management processes within large-scale programs or complex data migration initiatives
• Excellent leadership and influencing skills to coordinate and guide cross-functional teams
• Strong experience in defining test strategies, overseeing test execution, and delivering structured progress reporting
• Knowledge of Risk Management concepts and regulatory frameworks
• Ability to define, document, and improve processes related to test environments and test data management
• Familiarity with software architecture concepts and the software development lifecycle
• Good understanding of modern engineering practices such as Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), test automation, and non-functional testing
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities with a persistent, outcome-oriented mindset

Education

• University degree in Computer Science or another related field

• Strong communication and presentation skills in English, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders across different levels of seniority
• Ability to work effectively in cross-border, international, and multicultural environments
• High flexibility and adaptability in fast‑changing environments
• Strong analytical skills
