General

We are looking for DataStage Developers to join our client team and support the design, development, and optimization of ETL processes.

 

Responsibilities/Activities

  • Develop ETL workflows in IBM DataStage based on source-to-target mappings and established standards
  • Analyse data environments and source systems to understand record origins and structures
  • Interpret and work with both the Logical and Physical Data Models
  • Execute unit testing, validate data flows, and build ETL processes aligned with business requirements
  • Conduct peer reviews of development work to ensure quality and consistency
  • Provide support during System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Optimize ETL jobs to enhance performance
  • Contribute to the deployment of code changes, mappings, and metadata

Requirements

Technical

  • At least 4 years of previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage
  • Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts
  • Good knowledge of Oracle Database

Education

  • University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or another related field

  • Good level of English (oral and written)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to be able to align with various stakeholders

Nice to have requirements

  • Understanding of Agile – Scrum methodology
  • Experience with other ETL tools
