We are looking for Data Governance Analysts to join our client’s team, leveraging their expertise in data management, business data models, and SQL to ensure data quality, compliance, and effective governance while collaborating with cross-functional teams in the banking industry.
Responsibilities/Activities
- Ensure that data management practices across the organization are effective, aligned with business needs, and foster a strong data governance culture
- Play a key role in defining and implementing bank’s data governance framework as a critical component of the data transformation journey. This includes establishing and promoting practices around the business data dictionary, data quality, data lineage, certified data source usage, and report metadata management
- Support business units in operationalizing data governance within their respective domains
- Act as a facilitator and coach, sharing best practices and enabling teams to embed governance activities into their daily operations
- Serve as a vital link between business stakeholders and data teams
- Collaborate with business and IT/transformation teams to ensure continuous improvement in the availability, reliability, and quality of organizational data assets
- Contribute to the development and implementation of governance practices specific to AI, ensuring responsible and effective use of artificial intelligence within the organization
Requirements
Technical
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Experience in Business Analysis, Data Governance or Data Management within the banking industry
- Experience with data governance tools (especially Informatica)
- Proficient in SQL and database concepts, including joins, aggregate functions, dimensions, and measures
- Passionate about data flows and business data models, eager to learn, and driven to grow as an expert while promoting this enthusiasm across the organization
- Ability to think strategically and translate conceptual frameworks into concrete processes, procedures and systems
Education
- University degree in Economics, IT or an analytical field

- Advanced level of English
