BPM Engineer, 4+ years experience

General

We are looking for BPM Engineers to join our client’s Agile Development Team, contributing to multiple and diverse banking projects.

 

Responsibilities/Activities

• Design and develop processes, workflows, and interfaces for assigned functionalities
• Understand and, where appropriate, challenge business requirements, functional analyses, and change requests
• Create clean and efficient business process rules in line with provided specifications
• Support collaboration across IT teams, fostering communication and coordinating discussions
• Work closely with product managers, developers, architects, and fellow engineers
• Contribute to test plan creation and test case design
• Assist in updating and maintaining integration (regression) test plans as new test cases are identified during testing
• Identify, document, resolve, or escalate issues as needed, ensuring full traceability of defects
• Provide feedback and suggest enhancements for user experience designs
• Actively contribute, together with the team, to continuous improvement of development processes
• Provide support for production and UAT incidents (3rd level support)
• Prepare and maintain required documentation throughout the application lifecycle
• Participate in application planning and coordination meetings
• Coordinate PROD changes related to new features or bug fixes delivered by the squad
• Maintain the development environment

Requirements

Technical

• At least 4 years of experience as BPM Engineer or similar roles
• Working experience with BPM tools
• Previous experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python)
• Good knowledge of databases – SQL
• Experience in workflow diagram design
• Basic understanding of IT landscapes and the software development lifecycle
• Debugging and root cause analysis skills

Education

• University degree in Computer Science or another related field

Nice to have requirements

• Experience with change management and defect tracking tools
• High standards of confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive information responsibly
• Knowledge of the BPMN 2 standard
• Working experience in an Agile development environment
