We are looking for Senior Business Systems Analysts to shape banking data and reporting solutions, turning finance and risk needs into clear requirements alongside business and IT teams.
Responsibilities/Activities

Work with teams to clarify needs and document requirements for data and reporting solutions
- Assess feasibility, benefits and risks, then recommend practical options

Analyse the impact of business requirements on existing systems and the wider IT environment

Estimate the analysis effort for projects and ongoing system changesWork with business

Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional specifications

Contribute to solution design and support IT architects, developers and testers during delivery

Keep specifications up to date as approved changes are introduced

Support application administrators after go-live during the stabilisation period

Carry out functional and gap analysis for solution selection (RfPs), document needs and help evaluate proposals
Requirements
Technical
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- At least 3 years of experience in business and systems analysis, covering both project-based initiatives and ongoing changes
- Advanced SQL skills in at least one dialect: T-SQL, PL/SQL or DB2 SQL
- Experience implementing data management solutions, such as data warehouses or reporting systems
- Previous financial services experience focused on finance and/or risk
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science or other related fields

- Advanced oral and written communication skills (English and Romanian)
- Curious, collaborative and comfortable solving problems and sharing ideas across business and IT teams
- Strong analytical thinking, a structured approach and the ability to explain complex topics clearly
- Ability to build trusted, responsible working relationships
- An energetic, team-oriented attitude and a desire to keep learning and growing
Nice to have requirements
- Experience with data warehousing, data integration and business intelligence (BI) technologies
- Familiarity with data modelling tools – PowerDesigner is preferred
