Senior .NET Engineer, 7+ years experience

General

We are looking for Senior .NET Engineers to modernize finance applications, automate processes, improve data quality and deliver secure, scalable solutions in an Agile environment.

 

Responsibilities/Activities

• Design, develop and maintain in-house applications supporting finance processes, reporting, regulatory compliance, reconciliations and internal controls
• Build scalable and secure backend services using C# and modern .NET technologies
• Translate business and finance requirements into clear technical solutions
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Finance specialists, DevOps engineers and other technology teams
• Participate in solution design and architecture discussions
• Develop and optimize SQL and Oracle database queries and data access
• Build, maintain and integrate REST APIs and other system integrations
• Contribute to code reviews and promote clean code, testing and engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis and support production stability
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment practices, monitoring and observability
• Apply security, compliance and governance requirements by design
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives
• Take ownership of assigned topics and actively suggest improvements to applications and processes

Requirements

Technical

• At least 7 years of hands-on .NET development experience
• Strong C# skills and solid experience with .NET Core / .NET 6+; experience with .NET 8 is highly relevant
• Good experience with ASP.NET Core Web API and REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework
• Solid SQL skills and practical experience working with Oracle databases
• Good understanding of software design principles, patterns and maintainable application architecture
• Experience with Git version control
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum software development teams

Education

• University degree in Computer Science or other related fields preferred

• Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps experience

• Experience with microservices architectures
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
