Senior iOS Developer

General

We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer to build secure, high-quality mobile banking experiences using modern Swift, strong architecture, testing and performance practices.

Responsibilities/Activities

• Develop and maintain iOS features using current Swift versions and iOS SDKs.
• Build responsive screens and interactions using Auto Layout, animations and Apple UX guidelines.
• Structure application code using suitable design patterns such as MVC and MVP.
• Integrate RESTful services and handle client-side data processing and application logic.
• Apply practical mobile security measures, including secure communication, Keychain usage and common attack-risk awareness.
• Write and maintain unit tests and UI tests to keep releases reliable.
• Profile, debug and improve application performance using Xcode Instruments.
• Work with common iOS libraries and dependencies such as CocoaPods, Realm, Promises and Alamofire.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, backend and QA colleagues, bringing a proactive and analytical approach to delivery.

Requirements

Technical

• 5+ years of hands-on iOS development experience, with Swift as the main technology.
• Strong hands-on experience with current Swift versions and iOS SDKs.
• Good knowledge of iOS layout techniques, including Auto Layout, animations and Apple UX guidelines.
• Practical experience with software design patterns such as MVC and MVP.
• Knowledge of core mobile security topics, including SSL/TLS, man-in-the-middle risks, denial-of-service considerations, Keychain and jailbreak-related risks.
• Experience integrating RESTful services and implementing front-end processing and functionality around APIs.
• Basic hands-on experience with Xcode Instruments for profiling and troubleshooting.
• Experience writing unit tests and UI tests for iOS applications.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented and Swift language concepts, including extensions, protocols and enums.
• Practical experience with CocoaPods, Realm, Promises and Alamofire.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with at least one scripting language, such as Python or Ruby.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Jenkins.
• Experience with SwiftUI, Combine or other reactive programming frameworks.
