General

We are looking for Manual QA Engineers to join our client’s Agile banking team testing assisted digital channels for sales and customer interaction flows, improving customer experience, operational efficiency and platform stability.

 

Responsibilities/Activities

  • Understand business requirements, functional analysis and change requests
  • Create test plans and design test cases for UI, API, integration and regression coverage
  • Execute manual tests and maintain integration and regression test plans
  • Conduct peer reviews for tests, test cases and automation scripts
  • Report, record, track and escalate defects, ensuring clear traceability
  • Investigate logs, support root-cause analysis and contribute to defect resolution
  • Provide feedback and propose improvements for user experience designs
  • Support production and UAT incidents together with the delivery team
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for the application lifecycle
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of the testing and development process
  • Collaborate closely with .NET Developers, Software Architects, Customer Journey Experts, BPM and DevOps Engineers

Requirements

Technical

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, with a strong manual testing mindset
  • At least 2 years of experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, including in-house frameworks
  • Experience testing web applications and customer-facing digital channels
  • Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, XPath, REST APIs and SQL queries
  • Experience investigating logs, debugging issues and tracing defects end to end
  • Experience with test planning, test case design, integration testing and regression testing
  • Experience with defect tracking tools, preferably Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of at least one database, such as Oracle, SQL Server or SQLite
  • Ability to create and maintain UI/API testing approaches or frameworks
  • Working experience according to Agile methodology

Education

  • University degree in Computer Science or another related field

  • Advanced English communication skills, written and spoken
  • Analytical and abstract thinking, problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Organized, flexible and able to manage work across multiple projects and changing priorities
  • Quality-oriented, self-driven, motivated and comfortable working in a senior engineering environment
  • High standards of confidentiality, integrity and care when handling sensitive information.

Nice to have requirements

  • ISTQB certification
  • Playwright and TypeScript experience
  • Experience in banking, financial services, assisted channels, contact center or fraud defense domains
  • Exposure to AI-assisted development or testing tools, such as GitHub Copilot
