Technical Business Analyst, 4+ years experience

General

We are looking for Technical Business Analysts who will join our client’s Agile team and work closely with System Analysts, Developers and QA within the same team, delivering E2E functionalities.

 

Responsibilities/Activities

• Gather and clarify software business requirements
• Translate business requirements into technical design solutions, ensuring the granularity of an epic/feature/user story level
• Analyse the impact of the new business requirements on the existing systems/implementations and overall IT environment
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, being the main facilitator when clarifications and new requirements are being presented/discussed
• Take part in the refinement process of the requirements to ensure they are appropriate for the squad to deliver within a sprint (two-week interval)
• Provide support for the team during the development phase in order to deliver the best technical solution
• Build and execute the functional testing strategy in order to fulfill the acceptance criteria
• Together with the QA, build relevant testing documentation (test plans, test suites, test cases) and agree which test cases should be automated
• Participate and present in demo sessions
• Troubleshoot errors, identify solutions or redirect them further
• Provide 3rd line support for production incidents (when needed)

Requirements

Technical

• At least 4 years of working experience in eliciting requirements and creating specifications for application development
• Working experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services
• Experience in working with MQ integration processes
• Proficient in collaborative tools like Confluence/Jira/Azure
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodology
• Good level of applied knowledge in algorithms, concepts of IT architecture, applied knowledge of database management systems, quality assurance, data analysis

Education

• University degree in Computer Science or other related fields
• Equivalent experience will be considered
