General
We are looking for Google Cloud Platform Engineers who will help with deployment and delivery of platform along with its maintenance and services to achieve our client’s strategy in the field of information technology.
Responsibilities/Activities
- Setting up, installation and integration of Looker into the current GCP landscape
- Operations on Looker post installation and supporting its tenants
- Maintenance of data analytics platform components
- Architecture development and experiments
- Prepare cloud-ready and IaC-based solutions
- Manage monitoring and alerting for the platform
Requirements
Technical
- At least 4 years of working experience in a similar position
- Experience in setting up, installation and integration of Looker on GCP
- Experience with public cloud GCP and building platforms on top of it
- Experience with managed GCP services (e.g. GKE, GCS, BQ, Dataproc)
- Experience with Terraform with Azure DevOps pipelines
- Programming skills (e.g. Python & Go)
- Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting
Education
- University degree in Computer Science or other related fields preferred

Nice to have requirements
- Experience on distributed cloud computing and storage on GCP
- Ability to optimize code and infrastructure
