General

We are looking for ETL Developers who will work within our client’s Corporate Data Warehouse that creates the foundation for a data-driven organization. Our client employs enthusiasm, an Agile mindset, and collaborative spirit to deliver top-notch results, aligned with Data Lineage, Quality, and Governance standards.

 

Responsibilities/Activities

  • Development of ETL flows using IBM Datastage 11.5.0.1 according to source to target mappings and to the established framework and rules
  • Analysing the environment and source of records
  • Understand the Logical Data Model and Physical Data Model
  • Perform unit tests, validate data flows and prepare ETL processes according to business requirements
  • Contributing to end-to-end testing – perform System Integration testing and offer support for UAT
  • Tune the ETL jobs to improve performance
  • Peer review of other developers work
  • Contributing to deployment of code changes, mappings and metadata

Requirements

Technical

  • At least 4 years of working experience as ETL Developer, with proven experience working with large data warehouse solutions
  • Experience with IBM Infosphere DataStage
  • Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts
  • Good knowledge of Oracle Database

Education

  • University degree in Computer Science or other related fields preferred

Others

  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to be able to align with various stakeholders

Nice to have requirements

  • Understanding of Agile – Scrum methodology
