General
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our client dynamic team in the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation processes.
Responsibilities/Activities
- Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and security of our client applications in a cloud-native environment
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on AWS
- Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash
- Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Monitor and optimize system performance using various logging tools
- Apply GitOps principles for infrastructure and application deployment
- Set up, operate, and deploy SQL databases
- Ensure security best practices are followed in cloud environments
- Utilize JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation
Requirements
Technical
- At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong expertise in cloud services – AWS preferred (or GCP or Azure)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration
- Proficiency in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Working experience with Git, GitHub, GitOps, and Jenkins
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Strong skills in Python and Bash Scripting
- Experience with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL and Oracle
- Good knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana stack and Prometheus
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
- Familiar with tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Education
- University degree in Computer Science or other related fields preferred

- Proficiency in English (oral and written)

Nice to have requirements
- Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes or Terraform
- Experience with other cloud platforms
- Experience with additional CI/CD tools
