We are looking for Data Engineers who will join our client’s team contributing to the governance of Big Data and decision-making platforms, integrating data from savings, provident, health, and property management systems.
Responsibilities/Activities
- Work as part of an Agile data engineering team to develop scalable solutions
- Develop and implement back-end data solutions, from design phase to deployment
- Analyze, produce, assemble, technically and functionally validate and deliver software components
- Perform unit and integration testing
- Provide user support
- Keep the domain’s documentation up to date
- Oversee both evolutionary and corrective maintenance of the platform
- Ensure continuous monitoring of production environments
Requirements
Technical
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a role of DataLake Developer
- Expertise in Cloudera Data Platform 7.1.9
- Experience with storage technologies (Hive) and Big Data tools (Spark, Java, HQL scripting)
- Experience in Git, Jira, Shell Scripting
Education
- University degree in Computer Science or other related fields preferred
Others
- Advanced level of English
- Willingness to learn and become professional in French (with support from our client)
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to details and proactive
- Enthusiasm, self-confidence and autonomous mindset
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with a creative and analytical approach
