Cloud Engineer, 4+ years experience

General

We are looking for Cloud Engineers to join our client’s growing team and contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based solutions. You will work on complex projects, supporting business transformation through scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures.

 

Responsibilities/Activities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust, secure and scalable cloud infrastructures
• Contribute to the architecture, deployment, and continuous improvement of cloud platforms and services
• Plan and execute cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Monitor system performance, availability, security, and costs, ensuring optimal operational efficiency
• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues in cloud environments
• Implement cloud security best practices, compliance standards, and governance frameworks
• Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, security, and architecture teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders and project teams
• Document architectures, processes, and operational procedures

Requirements

Technical

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Working experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns, networking, security and identity management
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, etc.)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar)
• Familiar with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools in cloud environments
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Education

• University degree in Computer Science or other related fields preferred

Nice to have requirements

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP – Associate or Professional level)
• Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
• Previous experience in large-scale enterprise or multinational environments
