General
We are looking for Business Analysts who will join our client’s team and contribute to the successful delivery of innovative solutions by bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation.
Responsibilities/Activities
- Understand and translate user requirements into detailed functional specifications
- Work with development teams to transform functional specifications into technical documentation
- Design and build test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of functional requirements
- Execute functional tests, including qualification (integration and non-regression) and performance tests using BDDs
- Contribute to estimating the workload for development and unit testing phases
- Contribute to the 3rd level support, monitor issue resolution and troubleshoot incidents
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developments, including updates in JIRA, wikis, and project-related documents
- Adhere to established standards and procedures, including architecture, security, quality, and documentation requirements
- Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance application quality
- Provide user assistance and domain expertise to ensure operational effectiveness
Requirements
Technical
- At least 3 years of working experience in a similar job profile
- Experience in testing and mapping various business processes and protocols
- Minimum knowledge of mainframe systems and environment
- Introduction to COBOL programming (Ideally Batch and TP)
- Knowledge of the DB2 relational database management system, language and associated tools (SQL, Platinum, SPUFI, etc.)
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions
Education
- University degree in Computer Science or other related fields
