General
We are looking for BI Developers who will join our client’s BI team responsible for creating and maintaining various reports across different product lines.
Responsibilities/Activities
- Collaborate with business teams to provide deeper insights from data
- Work closely with the Data Lake team to receive data from various applications
- Utilize SSIS to ingest data efficiently
- Model and prepare data for reporting using SSAS
- Create and present reports intelligently using Power BI or SSRS
- Maintain and enhance existing reports developed by previous team members
- Implement optimization mechanisms for improved performance
- Innovate new methods for data presentation
- Assist with migrations to newer software versions
- Perform all tasks using Visual Studio and Azure DevOps
- Ensure data is used appropriately by enforcing risk rules to maintain safety and compliance
Requirements
Technical
- At least 4 years of working experience in a similar role
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or higher (SSIS and SSAS)
- Skilled in data warehousing, data modelling and report development using Microsoft SQL Server
- Expertise in presenting reports with Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI
- Experience with Azure
- Experience in dealing with large quantities of data (and performance tuning)
- Familiar with pair programming and automated release management
- Ability to translate requirements
- Passionate about data insights
- OLAP Modelling exposure
Education
- University degree in Computer Science or other related fields preferred
