BI Developer, 3+ years experience

General

We are looking for BI Developers who will join our client’s Agile team, where they will design and deliver a variety of analytical reports based on company data for top management and other key stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities/Activities

• Gather and manage business reporting requirements
• Develop BI reports in line with these requirements
• Review and enhance existing reports to ensure standardization across the organization
• Configure and maintain BI tools, infrastructure, and ensure seamless integration with company data sources
• Collaborate with data warehouse analysts, data modelers and data application engineers
• Suggest improvements in data schemas and optimize data flow for better reporting performance and functionality

Requirements

Technical

• At least 3 years of professional experience in BI Reporting, using various BI tools
• Experience with Microsoft PowerBI, SSRS and SSAS, Shell Scripting, PL/SQL
• Experience with Oracle Database in Data Warehouse and Data Lake environments
• Advanced level of SQL scripting
• Experience in creating and maintaining business requirements and other technical documentation
• Experience with data modeling, data schemas (normalized, flat, star, snowflake)
• Understand database operations and optimization MS SQL Server, Oracle
• Understand data and query optimization, query profiling and query performance monitoring tools and techniques

Education

• University degree in Computer Science or other related fields preferred
